Thanks for the great sample. If you managed to make AD integration on the login page working, a sample would be great.

Thanks.

This is a great tip, and saved my life :D...

But, in my application I use AJAX (pure Javascript, not MS Ajax) and some problems occured, the data was sent though post requests and AJAX, and the requested ASP.NET pages couldn't retrieve this data and Request.Form["fields"] were always null.

This behavior does not occur when I use Fiddler to track all requests and on other Browser like FF and Opera, occurs only on IE.

So I find this post: www.microsoft.com/.../default.aspx

To summarize:

I also activated Integrated Windows Authentication (keeping the Anonymous) in my application directory and all worked wonderful.

Many thanks.

I've tried your solution (slightly modified for my setup) - meaning I added some debug stmts for the module itself - in the dynamically created javascript function. So I could determine what the values were being set to when the doc access occurred. In every case, the javascript reports unable to load the given file and redirects to the WebLogin.aspx page - appears as if the Windows Integrated Auth is not working for me.

If I access the CredentialsScreeningRequiresAuthentication.aspx directly in my URL, it prompts me for credentials - valid credentials opens the file without issue.

As for properties on the web app - I have the CredentialsScreeningRequiresAuthentication.aspx file set to only allow Windows Integrated Auth. The site itself still has anonymous access enabled so as to not show a popup for username/password when accessing open content.

Any suggestions? Your apporach if working is excellent.
