Try LastFM. The idea behind LastFM is you tell it a bunch of music you like and it plays things that it thinks you would like. I believe they use affinity logic.

Pandora is another such site. They have music experts tag music in various ways, allowing them to recommend music similar to what you like.

MusicIP is more oriented toward active looking than passive playing. Odd UI, but you can sample things quickly. I believe they use computer audio analysis to group similar music.
